I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Before that, I tried my hand at graphic design, but I quickly realized that my interests lay elsewhere and began studying psychology.
During my studies at the Faculty of Psychology, I started learning therapy. Among therapeutic approaches, I felt most aligned with post-classical methods, particularly narrative practice. I studied this with Russian-speaking and foreign colleagues from 2015 to 2020.
Since 2016, I have been working as a practicing psychologist with both adults and children. In parallel, I explored the world of academic psychology: in my postgraduate studies at MSU, I researched the specifics of self-concept formation in older adolescents involved in dramatic acting. I participated in several international studies. I also worked in the field of education: from 2016 to 2019, I worked at the Russian Chess School, where I organized a psychological service, conducted field programs (organizing chess education programs and psychological support), and headed the field programs department.
In parallel, I worked extensively in the non-profit sector. Even as a student, I became a volunteer at the children's rehabilitation center "Inspiration," where I worked as a "mentor" and psychologist in the center's programs for children and adolescents from disadvantaged families and orphanages. Since 2019, I have been working at the prosthetics center of the "Life in Motion" foundation, supporting the rehabilitation and social adaptation process of children and adolescents receiving prosthetics. In the fall of 2021, together with the "No Right Way" team, I compiled a database of Russian-speaking psychiatrists practicing evidence-based psychiatry. You can view it here. Since the summer of 2022, I have been a volunteer for the "Golden Key" project.
And of course, my development in therapeutic practice has continued. I additionally trained in the basics of body-oriented therapy, psychosynthesis, and child-centered play therapy. I completed the training program at the "Future Now" foundation in Denmark (training in conducting workshops and psychotherapeutic work) and the Kids’Skills seminar by Ben Furman. I also completed a supplementary education program at the Russian State University for the Humanities in non-directive child-centered play therapy (under Alexander Pokryshkin). (A more detailed list is provided below.)
In 2020, I trained in EMDR and now use this method as the primary approach in my work. In October 2023, I received the status of an accredited EMDR Europe practitioner.
I have a young daughter. After Russia started the war against Ukraine in 2022, my family and I moved to Israel, where we continue to live to this day.
I have been in personal therapy since 2018. I also regularly attend supervision and intervision sessions in the approaches I work with (EMDR, narrative practice, SFBT, CCPT).

Collaborative and Respectful Partnership: I work with both adults and children in a manner that prioritizes collaboration and mutual respect. The therapeutic process is built on a foundation of partnership, where each person's unique perspective and expertise about their own life are valued.
Focus on Preferred Solutions: One of the key aspects of my approach is the focus on identifying preferred solutions, emphasizing the existing skills, values, and resources of the person. My goal is to help clients recognize and build on what is already working well in their lives.
Narrative Practice: In my practice, I adhere to the principles of narrative therapy. I view each person as the expert of their own life and pay great attention to the broader cultural context, the language used to describe a person's reality, and their authentic knowledge, skills, and abilities in navigating their experiences. I believe in separating the person from their problems and seeing them in the fullness of their unique experiences and stories.
Storytelling as a Central Metaphor: The metaphor of storytelling is fundamental in narrative practice. We see each person's life as composed of many unique stories. Our role is to help bring to life those stories that best align with the person's values and intentions, helping them adopt an 'authorial stance' toward their own life.
Use of EMDR for Complex Emotional Experiences: For complex emotional experiences, distressing memories, and unhelpful reactions or 'behavior patterns,' where intellectual understanding does not suffice, I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is an effective tool for desensitization and processing, and my role in this process can be seen as a 'bodyguard' guiding the client through challenging parts of their journey.
Customized Approach: The choice of methods and techniques is always tailored to the individual's preferences and the specific nature of the task at hand. While my work is typically goal-oriented with a defined conclusion, I also provide long-term support for clients through different stages of life.
Inclusivity and Openness: I am LGBTQ+/feminist/poly-friendly, and I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all clients. Sessions with children are conducted in person (in Israel).
Commitment to Professional Development: I regularly participate in professional development courses, training programs, and scientific-practical events. I also maintain high professional standards through regular supervision and intervision.
Referral to Other Professionals: If a client's request falls outside my area of expertise, I am happy to recommend other qualified specialists who work with both children and adults.
